We are always very pleased to hear good feedback about a job well done, or a good service provided. Please tell us about your experience, and let us know what made it so good. We are particularly keen to hear about how our goodpeople have done.

Not satisfied with the work done ?
There are a number of reasons why you may not be satisfied:
The quality of the work or service
The time taken
Whether the work is finished
The price
The attitude or behaviour of the person delivering the service
In all cases, be absolutely clear what it is that you are unhappy about, and if possible write it down. Have clear in your mind what is wrong, and why.
Always be reasonable and tell the supplier clearly what it is you are unhappy about. Give them the opportunity to fix any problem and sort it out.
Be clear what it is you want them to do, and how they can resolve the issue to your satisfaction. If you just complain then you are likely to get an apology, but maybe only an apology.
Be clear about what it is you want as an end result.
Most good suppliers or tradespeople want to do a good job, their livelihood depends on their reputation! So give them the opportunity to address your dissatisfaction, so that they can make you a happy customer.
If you are still dissatisfied.
If you are unable to resolve the issue directly, then you have a number of options:
Check any contract that you have. Be sure of your facts.
Write to the trader or supplier setting out clearly what the issue is and what you would like them to do to address it. Make sure that you give them a reasonable amount of time to resolve the problem, and be sure to keep a copy of any communication that you give them.
Please tell us, particularly if its a member of the goodpeoplegroup involved.
Report the person to any of the trade bodies that they say they belong to or are likely to belong to.
Consult the Citizens Advice Bureau, or Trading Standards. They will let you know what options may be open to you.
Consult a solicitor.

All the people on this site have been contacted to make sure that they are who they say they are, and their references have been taken up and checked.
The site also contains information that may help you in making important decisons.
For example, we have provided here some guidelines on what you might pay for typical work or services , and we have also brought together some useful links to other sites that give further information on "how to", and "what will I need?"
We have also provided some useful tips and advice that may help you get the best from your project, reduce your costs or manage your contracts.
